i think this quote is trying to tell  us that when you do the right thing don't think about what you could get out of it the reward they might give you...when you do the right things the most honor reward you could get is within yourself feeling good you did something good for that person .... It doesn't matter if you don't get any reward when you do the right thing , you are doing them because you want t.. nothing else matter but what you feel when you do the things you do the choices you make if there right then right things might come to your life
