Glenn Cunningham
Glenn was an American distance runner; he was considered the top amateur athlete in the United States. Cunningham’s legs were very badly burned in an explosion, he was only eight. The doctor told his parents that he might never walk normally again. On the summer of 1919 he tried to walk for the first time two years after the accident. Cunningham had a positive attitude and a strong faith, Isaias 40:31 was his favorite Bible verse "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
Glenn competed in 1932, 1936, 1938,1954 summer Olympics, what for humans was impossible for him it was just another normal run
